Anyone viewing information on the iCats Program website published by LGT Venture Philanthropy (hereinafter "LGT VP") and registering as a user on the iCats Program website implicitly agrees to the terms and conditions set out below. Any special agreements concerning individual LGT VP products and services apply in addition to these terms and conditions or, if there is a conflict, take precedence over them.

The iCats Program website was established for everyone interested in catalyzing positive impact, including LGT VP’s Portfolio organizations as well as philanthropic organizations and social enterprises (hereinafter “organizations”) from the portfolio of trusted partners, invited by LGT VP to participate in the platform, and all those who bring the necessary professional experience for the open positions posted on the website (hereinafter "iCats").

• Only organizations approved and registered by LGT VP can post positions on the website
• LGT VP reserves the right to admit only those iCats to the platform who fulfill the requirements set out by LGT VP

1. Access

This Website is only intended for individuals that can form legally binding contracts under the applicable law. None of the information on these Web pages is intended for persons from countries in which viewing such information entails any form of registration requirement on LGT VP's part. Persons subject to a jurisdiction that prohibits viewing information on this iCats Program are not permitted to view said information.

The iCats Program website is not intended for persons subject to a jurisdiction that prohibits the publication of or access to the iCats Program website due to their nationality or domicile or for any other reason. Persons subject to such restrictions may not access the iCats Program website.

2. Intention

The iCats Program website provides the opportunity

• For organizations registered by LGT VP to post their profile and open positions online
• For iCats to register, fill in their profile, see open positions and apply for them online
• For iCats Managers to manage the profile and open positions of the organizations, as well as conduct the matching process with iCats’ applicants to these positions

3. Use of Services

3.1 Use of the Services offered on the iCats Program website require adherence to the procedures set out on the website.

3.2 The service is offered free of charge as long as no additional agreement has been signed.

3.3 Any indication of times or dates stated on the website or in communication to the users are estimates only. All reasonable efforts will be undertaken to provide Services within the time specified, but LGT VP does not accept liability for any failure to deliver within that time.

3.4 The user undertakes that all details provided for the purpose of using the Services offered on the website will be correct.

4. No guarantee that information is up to date, correct or complete

The information on the organizations provided on these Web pages are produced by LGT VP staff based on information from external, internal and third party sources deemed to be reliable, and filled in by the users themselves. However, LGT VP offers no guarantee with regard to the content and accuracy of these reports, which must not be regarded as complete descriptions or summaries of the organizations mentioned therein. LGT VP reviews and updates the information the iCats Program website on a regular basis. Despite its best efforts, this information may nevertheless be out of date or based on incorrect data at date of print. LGT VP therefore accepts no liability for the information provided being up to date, correct and complete.

5. Linked Web pages

All users must be aware that LGT VP has no control whatsoever over third-party Web pages linked to or from the iCats Program website and therefore accepts no liability for the content of such Web pages being correct, complete and legally valid or for the products and services offered on such Web pages.

LGT VP reserves the right to make changes and additions to the information provided at any time without prior notice.

All intellectual property rights remain with LGT VP. The iCats Program website may be reproduced in full or in part, in particular its text and images, forwarded electronically or by any other means, altered, linked to or otherwise used for public or commercial purposes only with LGT VP's prior approval.

9. Exclusion of liability

LGT VP expressly accepts no liability for losses or damages of any kind arising from using or accessing the iCats Program website or links to third-party websites or from viewing information on its Web pages. Furthermore, LGT VP accepts no liability for any unauthorized manipulation of users' IT systems. LGT VP expressly draws users' attention to the risk of viruses and the threat of hacker attacks. Using the latest browser version and antivirus software is thus strongly recommended. E-mails from unknown senders should not be opened.

10. Data protection and data transfer security

LGT VP expressly draws users' attention to the fact that data are transferred via public networks such as the Internet or e-mail services, which can be accessed by anyone. LGT VP cannot guarantee the confidentiality of messages or documents sent via such public networks. Anyone sending personal information (such as senders' and recipients' names and addresses) via a public network should be aware that third parties may be able to view, store and use it without their permission. Third parties may thus be able to deduce existing or prospective accounts and business relationships with LGT Group. Even if the sender and recipient are in the same country, data transferred between them often pass through other countries, including countries that do not offer the same level of data protection as the country in question, without being subject to any controls.
Data may be lost or intercepted by unauthorized third parties during the transfer process. LGT VP accepts no liability for the security of data transferred via the Internet or for direct or indirect data loss. For data protection and security reasons, users are advised to contact LGT VP via other means of communication.

11. Privacy Policy

By accessing or using our Website the user agrees to be legally bound by this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions as they may be modified and posted on our website from time to time. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy then you may not use the iCats Program website and services offered therein.

11.1 Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information

LGT VP collects personal information when a user creates an account or edits his profile information, posts an open position, or applies for an open position. LGT VP also collects some technical information about the use of the website. This information will only be used to facilitate the use and functionality of the site and the processes, and to contact the users only when necessary.

The user authorizes LGT VP to use, store or otherwise process any personal information which relates to and identifies the user including (but not limited to) the name and contact details, as well as the information provided in the user’s personal account, to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the application and matching services which are available through the website. LGT VP will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that the user data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Only designated members of the LGT VP team and all persons registered by LGT VP as iCats Managers will be allowed access to and insight into all user data.

LGT VP will not disclose the list of registered iCat users, personal information or professional profile to any third party which is not directly involved in any of the processes necessary to provide the services which are available through the website.

LGT VP will only share the personal data and personal profile of iCats with organizations and trusted partners which are directly involved into the processes necessary to provide the application and matching service.

11.2 Creating an iCat account and applying for a position

When a user creates an iCat account on the website, LGT VP collects basic personal information (name, contact details) as well as the professional profile of the iCat. In addition, contact details of reference persons are required in the case when the iCat applies for an open position. This information is collected only to facilitate this service and will be used in good faith that the recipient will not object to LGT VP using it in this way.

11.3 Creating an organization account and posting open positions

Only LGT VP can register organizations on the iCats Program website. The organization has to provide basic information (name, contact details) as well as the organization profile. The profile (without contact details) is visible for all registered iCats.

Also all open positions posted by the organization and approved by the iCats Manager are visible for registered iCats.

11.4 Links to Other Websites

Other websites, including those of LGT VP partners (links which appear on www.lgt.com/icats), have their own privacy policies. When a user provides personal information at one of those sites, the user is subject to the privacy policy of the operator of that site, not the iCats Program website privacy policy. LGT VP encourages the user to read that policy before submitting any personal information.
We recommend that you take all appropriate steps to safeguard your personal information online.

12. Privacy Policy Updates

This privacy policy is regularly reviewed to ensure the privacy interests of users. If the information practices change materially, the changes will be posted on the privacy page of this website to notify of these changes. Please ensure to check the website periodically.
