LGT Venture Philanthropy - iCats Program

How does the iCats Program work

Many business professionals have the desire to apply their knowledge and expertise in the social sector, but do not know where to engage, or how to go about it. The iCats Program enables you to leverage your professional skills and experience to support social organizations. iCats take on clear roles and important tasks and responsibilities which contribute to maximize the organizations' positive impact on less advantaged people.

The Program acts as a platform where business professionals register and apply for temporary positions at social organizations. The registration involves a careful screening of the candidates' educational background, work experience and inter-cultural competency. Once accepted into the iCats pool, the candidate can apply for interesting positions by following the online application process that facilitates the matching procedure.

The positions are posted by social organizations who communicate their specific resource needs to a community (iCats pool) of highly qualified and motivated professionals. In a thorough selection process in collaboration with the organization, it is determined whether the applicants' interest, competencies and availability are compatible with the organization and its business needs. The opportunity is offered to the best candidate.
